ABOUT US

Peaking Point is an annual nationwide Social Marketing contest organised by SIFE RMIT Hanoi Campus. The event is aiming to give opportunities for all students in Vietnam to unleash their creativity in communication & marketing campaigns to solve a contemporary social issue.

Peaking Point ensures to bring candidates closer to practical knowledge to enhance and advance values for the community. Along with the mission of building and developing a better society, Peaking Point promises to create a fierce marketing race for young people to learn, grow and compete.

In the rapidly developing digital technology and globalization era, people are becoming increasingly preoccupied with their identities. Being a part of the adolescent period, the journey of affirming oneself and forming one's own values may encounter many obstacles, which could result in Identity Crisis - a stage of confusion and misinterpretation of their core characters and values. Acknowledging the emergence of the urge to understand our worthiness and identity, we excitedly announce that, Peaking Point 2023’s official topic is about the “Identity Crisis” phenomenon!

PEAKING POINT SEASON 3 TOPIC:
IDENTITY CRISIS
Following the success of season 2 with the “Vietnamese traditional costumes” topic, Peaking Point has affirmed its role, importance, and influence on the community and society. This year, Peaking Point has officially come back with an explosive playground and a new appearance for young people to continually add significant value to the community via incredible Social Marketing projects.

These days, people keep asking themself the question: “Who am I?”. Such a simple question as it may seem, yet many are still struggling to figure out the proper answer. Failing to discern their personal identity as a person may result in the rise of confusion, and even worse, insecurity. Now is the moment for Peaking Point to encourage the development of self-identity in Vietnamese youngsters via unique Social - Marketing ideas.

FORMAT: ONLINE
PLATFORM: ZOOM & LIVESTREAM ON PEAKING POINT FANPAGE
TIME: 14:00 SATURDAY, 8/4/2023

There is an undeniable bond between Marketing and Human, and human-centric marketing campaigns always bring profound value to the community and contemporary society. With the theme of Identity Crisis, Workshop Beyond the “Likes”: Exploring Marketing’s Role in Shape Youth Identities will provide an overall picture of Identity Crisis in Vietnam, as well as approaches to general psychological issues.
When psychological issues have not been highlighted and prioritised in Vietnamese society, it is also the time when empathy and support from "third-party helpers" are more emphasised than ever. From there, Social Marketing campaigns have become a trend that is being embraced to voice out, raise awareness and create positive changes to society on issues related to psychology in particular and social issues in general. In addition to providing knowledge and perspectives on Identity Crisis, the Workshop will guide listeners on how to build effective Social Marketing campaigns that have a strong impact on individuals and communities. Therefore, the workshop will be a special combination of two elements of psychology and marketing, promising to bring new experiences to participants.
